Mayelin Alvarez is an Insurance Advisor, delivering value for both Kaufman Rossin Wealth LLC, and Kaufman Rossin Insurance Services where she applies her first-hand knowledge as a business owner to develop and implement financial solutions for proprietors. Mayelin provides expertise in establishing insurance plans to meet clients’ goals and objectives. She is highly versed in designing sophisticated structures for life insurance.
Mayelin has almost 20 years combined experience in operations, management, and business planning. She was a small business owner for almost a decade operating her own food supply business, working with the local hotel and restaurant industry. She later joined the consulting industry where she assisted over 600 companies in analyzing deficiencies within their businesses. Today, Mayelin works with owners of closely held corporations to develop strategies that protect their companies and the wealth they generate. These strategies often included the necessary insurance solutions to support buy-sell agreements, deferred compensation plans, and executive bonus plans.
In addition to spending time with her family, Mayelin volunteers for SCORE; an organization aimed at helping small businesses thrive in their community. Her role as a workshop presenter has brought great value to both the organization and business owners, ranking her a top presenter in her local chapter.
